Awarding Scholarships

Each year Foundation For Sight and Sound takes great pride in being able to award graduating high school seniors with scholarships to help them in continuing their education. Scholarships are awarded to students that are hard-of-hearing as well as students with vision loss. The winner of each category receives an award of $1000. In addition, all of the hard-of-hearing applicants that are currently wearing hearing aids older than 10 years are provided with brand new ReSound hearing aids to give them a boost as they enter college.

As you can imagine, the students are quite grateful for this assistance. Below you will see a note from one of this year’s Help America See winners as well as two Help America Hear Runner Ups.

Marianna Atwell - Scholarship

Lizzie Chidiac - Scholarship

Brittany Huellen - Scholarship

Once again please join us in congratulating all of the 2016-2017 Scholarship winners! We wish all applicants best of luck in their future endeavors and hope to see them continuing to advocate for others with disabilities along their journey.
